Good morning! The last few months have been a little hectic around here. After the rush of summer orders came in, school started in full swing. I was offered a position at a high school, so that has taken up a LOT of my time recently. Not going to lie, most days I go home and fall asleep, even though I try hard to fight it! When I don't fall asleep, my time has been taken up with work orders. Luckily, or unluckily, the orders have settled down, so I have had a little more time to work on some new items!
Here are a few of the new items we've been working on in the little free time the last few weeks. There are a few Halloween items (in the little time that's left before the holiday!), along with some new themes. Here are my favorite new items!
These "Monsters, Inc." cuties are the newest party favors! How cute are they?! (I don't usually toot my own horn, but 'toot-toot'!) These are probably my favoritest (I know it's not a real word) item for sale! They match our other "Monsters, Inc." party decorations. We also have a few other Halloween-y items coming soon!
As promised, we have some other new items and themes available. The first is this little bird garland.
Each piece is about 5" high and is on white thread to make it look like they float. (Right after this one was done, I started planning a Christmas one! Hopefully my thoughts get onto, or turned into, paper!) The last two pictures for today are the new themes we have to offer. Not all the pieces are made, but we can do custom colors and shapes! The first are our mermaid cuts and the other are zebra-print napkin rings and lollipop covers! (Pink would work well for a bachelorette party!!)
Stay tuned this week (hopefully tomorrow, but probably Tuesday) for a new party theme! I love how it's coming out so far, and I'm sure there'll be others who fall in love with it too!!

Hey, Santa!
Good morning! We hope everyone had a great, long weekend and took some time to thank any veterans. We spent the entire day working on a ton of party favors, and after all this time, I think we have finally gotten everything down in order to bust them out. However, it's never too early to think about the holidays. (OK, maybe that depends on who you ask.) We took a break this weekend to make these little cuties:
Our sister wanted us to make these gift baggies for her holiday gift list. We wanted to add a little holiday sparkle to Santa. We also used some rhinestones on the holly and poinsettia plants. And, of course, he has little googly eyes! We kept the tags nice and simple, since the bags are a bit more embellished.

Monsters Galore!
I hope everyone is having a great Monday! But if you're having a case of the Mondays, this will definitely cheer you up! We have a fantastic Monsters, Inc party set-up to share with you.
Even though no one we know is having a birthday party any time soon, and
definitely not a Monsters, Inc one, it was super fun to make. The first
part is a banner wishing the birthday kid a "Happy Boo-Day," and is
surrounded by a cutout garland.
Next up is some door and/or wall decor. We made a wreath with Mike, Sulley, and Boo. Along with it, is a door hanger with the birthday kid's name and age.
Next up are the cards for the party. The invitation measures 5x7 with all of the party information. There is also a thank you note for after the fun, both with cutouts with the main characters.
Finally, we have a favor bag. This might be my favorite part of all. It is a flip down bag, or could be made with ribbon or string to tie it shut, and is modeled after Boo's door. We made a birthday card that looked like this, but it sure makes one really cool bag.

Continuing With Our New Bags
Happy Friday! We hope everyone had wonderful work week. Our vacation is coming to an end, which means that we have a lot to catch up with everything we didn't do this week. A rainy day is a good day to do so. But, before we do that, we wanted to show some more of the princess bags we designed.
These are four of our new bags. Like the ones we had yesterday, these are also embellished with some glitter and embossing. Like we said yesterday, these are much more fun to make. Can't go wrong with glitter, or little rhinestones. Tiana is now my favorite- her necklace is just perfect, in my opinion! We have a few more that have to be completed, but we'll share them with you when we're finished.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day

How We've Been Keeping Busy
Good evening! We hope everyone is having a superb week so far. We have been on Spring Break this week, which should mean that we have a lot of time to work on new projects. Unfortunately, or fortunately, I guess, we've spent a lot of the week working on Etsy orders. We've had quite a few orders, some pretty large. Most of them have been for our Superhero party favors. We also made a few princess bags, but they haven't been quite as popular. So, we decided to change them up a bit, and hope that they become 'popular'. We'd rather make princesses than superheros- they're so much prettier and more fun. So, here is what we came up with:
This is the first set of redesigned bags. We had a lady who was interested in these four characters. Rapunzel may be my favorite ever! Each bag has been slightly embellished, either with glitter or embossing, to add another dimension to them. We have some more characters to share with you, but we'll save those for tomorrow!

For a Sweetie
Good morning! We hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far. It's been kind of drab and dreary here for the last few days (but it hasn't rained. Or snowed.) But at least the week is going by rather quickly, seeing as it's already Wednesday.
We have two projects for today. They are two gift bags we quickly threw together for the holiday:
These two bags are based off the same design, but we decided to make one a 'girly' bag and one a that would fit a boy a little better. We used pink, red, and white paper-typical Valentine's Day colors- for the first bag. For the second bag, we figured a boy would probably not be too happy getting a pink bag, so we went with a red, teal, and white bag. We also added some gray, to make it look a bit more masculine. The colors are far from ordinary, but we think they work quite well. We also used matching ribbon to attach the tags, and the sparkly red pops up again!

The Bell Still Rings
Happy Thursday! It is definitely one of those weeks that just crawls on by. It feels like it should be Friday. Almost there....
Join us tomorrow for a sweet project that's perfect for young children to help with!
Today's projects are 'Polar Express'-themed party decorations we made. There are two of them. The first is a multi-use place-card holder.
These place cards are designed to look like bells. (They are actually cut from a cupcake box) The criss-crossing of the top worked out rather nicely, as they are positioned in just the right spot for the slits in the bell. They were added with black marker, but you can't see it in the picture. Since they are boxes, they open up and are perfect to give away as a little party favor. We added a real bell to the top, so when they were moved, they jingle! (And we're fully aware the 'd' is lower case. Capital 'd's are just ugly letters....)
Our second project today is another favor box:
These favors are a little bigger than the bells, measuring about 4x4x4" boxes. They were decorated to look like train cars. You can always add more riding cars to match the number of favors needed. The cars are lit up, just like in the movie. This would also serve as a cute centerpiece for a small gathering (too many and it might take up the whole table!)Join us tomorrow for a sweet project that's perfect for young children to help with!

It's Official!
We watched our first Christmas movie last night, which means that the holidays are here! I know, we've been saying that for like the past month...We watched "Love Actually", which is one of our all-time favorite Christmas movies. I think we wrote about it back during our Christmas in July week. But, today's project is not movie related, but another gingerbread project:
This is a little gift bag we threw together. I LOVE how it came out! It was so nice to be able to do a 'fun' bag and not a superhero! This bag would be perfect for a party favor or for a small hostess gift. It's a little hard to tell, but the bag itself is made from super-cute gingerbread paper. We were planning on making a gingerbread body scrub to go along with it, but decided to hold off for another day. These next two pictures are close-ups.
This one shows the little flowers in the corner (told you they were going to be everywhere! ;) ) You can also see that the white background was embossed with a flourish pattern.
This one shows a picture of the little tag in the corner. I think the bow is my absolute favorite part of this whole bag.
Alright, I guess that's it for now. Time to work on some more superheroes...Thank you so much for stopping by!

A Sweet Treat, for a Little Witch!
Happy Friday! I know it's been a few days since we've had a new project up, but it's been one of those weeks when all you want to do after work is take a nap. And then fall asleep until 8:00 and decide to just go to bed. We've also been pretty busy with our Etsy shop orders, which is always exciting!!
So, getting on with today's project! After coming up with four or five different ideas (which we'll probably end up posting sometime this week), today's project kind of just came together, and we love how it looks! It is a little witch hat treat container:
How cute is this?! It is actually a cake box from Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More. The opening for the box is actually underneath the brim of the hat. It looks small, but it can hold quite a bit of candy and other treats. We were inspired by all the nicely decorated witch hats you can find on-line, with all their flowers and glitz. We had thought of making a centerpiece, with just a cone shape, but then decided to make the box into a treat container.
These two are close-ups of some of the decorations. I love these flowers! We got the Flower Shoppe cartridge and now everything is going to have flowers on it!! Can't wait! And of course, the little creepy crawlies that are hanging around, including the bat flying out of the flowers.
We are entering this project into a few challenges:
* Cooking with Cricut- 3D Treats
* Bitten by the Bug2- 3D Halloween Treat Containers
* Decorate to Celebrate- Halloween Party Part 2
* My Sheri Crafts- Halloween
* Cricut Fanatics- Creepy & Spooky Halloween
* Go Fish Challenges- 3D Halloween Projects
* More than Favors- Halloween
Thanks so much for stopping by! And for being patient with our little break! :)
